PATEK PHILIPPE — GLOBAL CREATIVE DIRECTION
LUXURY STORYTELLING · FILM · DIGITAL · SOCIAL · MOTION · EXPERIENCES
Evolving one of the world's most prestigious watch brands for contemporary audiences without compromising its heritage, craftsmanship or visual precision.
Working with Leagas Delaney, I led global creative delivery for Patek Philippe, developing campaigns and digital experiences across more than 30 markets.
ONLY HUMAN
Human stories behind an extraordinary brand.
Developing the Only Human platform, we explored the people, behaviours and emotions behind the precision of Patek Philippe.
The work moved beyond product communication to tell stories about ambition, character, relationships and the human qualities that make each generation different.
PHILOSOPHIES
The thinking behind the timepiece.
The Philosophies series explored the principles that have shaped Patek Philippe across generations.
Working with the ECD, I helped translate institutional brand thinking into contemporary digital storytelling, including the principle: “Fast is the enemy.”
The visual language deliberately rejected disposable social content in favour of considered, cinematic storytelling designed to feel as enduring as the brand itself.
GENERATIONS
From heritage to emotional legacy.
The Generations platform had long been associated with family, tradition and the passing of a watch from one generation to another.
We evolved the idea beyond product status to focus on emotional legacy — the relationships, memories and values that connect generations.
The work allowed 180 years of heritage to feel contemporary without losing the history and authenticity at the heart of the brand.
RITUALS OF MY LIFE
Reframing luxury for a new generation of women.
For the Twenty~4 collection, I led the digital-first Rituals of My Life campaign, positioning the watch as part of the everyday rituals and experiences of contemporary women.
The creative moved beyond traditional watch advertising into lifestyle storytelling, using premium photography, motion and social content to make the collection feel relevant, versatile and personal.
CRAFT-FIRST SOCIAL
Social without compromising luxury.
Patek Philippe required a different approach to social.
Rather than chasing trends or producing disposable content, we created a craft-first visual language across Instagram, YouTube and other global platforms.
High-production Reels, considered photography, long-form films and editorial storytelling allowed the brand to behave consistently across digital environments while maintaining the sense of permanence expected from a luxury watchmaker.
GLOBAL CREATIVE SYSTEMS
Precision at global scale.
Creative quality had to remain consistent across more than 30 markets, multiple formats and highly diverse regional requirements.
I helped establish global visual frameworks, style guides and structured transcreation models that allowed local teams to adapt campaigns while protecting the core creative idea and visual language.
The result was a system designed to scale without allowing the brand to become diluted.
BEYOND DIGITAL
Bringing the brand into physical space.
The work extended beyond screens into high-profile physical brand experiences, including Watches and Wonders Geneva and the Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan.
Working across creative development and pre-visualisation, I helped translate the brand's visual language into immersive environments and experiences.
THE WORK
Luxury creative. Global systems. Digital craft.
Across Patek Philippe, my role sat between creative direction, art direction, design, motion and global production.
The challenge was never simply to create more content. It was to build a creative system capable of expressing an exceptionally demanding luxury brand across markets and formats — without losing the craftsmanship, restraint and storytelling that made the brand distinctive.
